Complete KS3 Maths Practice Paper 1 with Mark Scheme

A full-range KS3 maths paper for Years 7–9 covering every topic in one sitting. 50 questions (109 marks) graded from easy to hard, with a full plain-English mark scheme. Works as an end-of-key-stage mock. Print-ready A4 PDF, 29 pages.

This is a complete KS3 paper — every topic in the key stage in one sitting, for Years 7 to 9. 50 questions (109 marks) build gently from easier to harder, with the hardest grouped into a stretch section at the end. It is longer than any of the four topic bundles, which makes it the right paper for an end-of-year mock or a full revision sweep before Year 10.

Subtopics covered

All sixteen KS3 subtopics appear, so nothing can be revised around:

  • Number properties, fractions, decimals & rounding
  • Percentages, indices & standard form, ratio & proportion
  • Expressions, equations, sequences, graphs & coordinates
  • Angles, area & perimeter, volume & surface area, transformations
  • Statistics & data handling, probability

What's covered

Number and ratio: HCF and LCM, prime factorisation, fractions, rounding, decimal arithmetic, percentages including a reverse problem, index laws, standard form, sharing in a ratio and a best-buy comparison. Algebra: collecting like terms, expanding and factorising, double brackets, equations with brackets and with unknowns on both sides, forming an equation from a perimeter, nth terms and the equation of a straight line. Geometry: angle facts on lines, at points and on parallel lines, polygons, the areas of triangles, circles and compound shapes, volume and surface area, and transformations on a coordinate grid. Data: averages from lists and tables, charts read and drawn, and probability including expected frequency and a tree diagram.

Papers 1, 2 and 3

There are three of these papers. They cover exactly the same ground at the same length, but share no questions, so a pupil can sit all three without seeing anything twice.

What's included

  • A cover page with space for name, class and date
  • 50 questions worth 109 marks, graded from easier to harder, finishing with a stretch section
  • Ruled working space under every question, because method marks matter
  • A complete mark scheme written in plain English — the working is shown for every multi-step answer, so you can mark with confidence even if maths is a distant memory

The mark scheme starts on its own page, so you can print the test without the answers. One print-ready A4 PDF, 29 pages — it prints cleanly on ordinary A4 at home.
