Multiplying fractions is the easy one, which catches people out because they expect it to be as fiddly as adding. Tops times tops, bottoms times bottoms, simplify at the end. No common denominator, no matching pieces. Two thirds of three quarters is six twelfths, which is a half.
What is on the sheet
Unit fractions to begin, where the answer is easy to picture. Then general products with numbers that stay manageable. Then products that simplify, which are the ones worth slowing down for, because cancelling before you multiply keeps the numbers small and the arithmetic honest. A mixed number stretch follows, where each mixed number has to become improper before anything else happens. Word problems close it.
Marking it
If the answers are right but the numbers in the working are enormous, show them cancelling before multiplying. The multiplying fractions lesson covers it.
